Non-Surgical Facelift FAQ

What is used in a non-surgical facelift?

Injectable dermal fillers combined with BOTOX® injections are utilized to create an effect similar to that of a facelift. The actual fillers used will be determined by Dr. Dominic during the consultation and depend on the precise effects you wish to achieve, and may include Restylane®, JUVÉDERM®, and/or Radiesse®.

What results can I expect to see from the fillers and BOTOX injections?

Contouring and appearance of the cheeks and jaw line (jowls) can be improved; the corners of the mouth and of the eyebrows can be lifted; rejuvenation of the lower eyelids can be accomplished; facial folds, such as those in the nasolabial area, can be softened and wrinkles around the eyes, on the forehead and on the face can be reduced.

If I have a non-surgical facelift, does that mean I cannot have a facelift in the future?

Not at all! Sometime later on when you have more room in your schedule for a facelift procedure and its recovery time or when you are better able to afford a facelift, you can always have it done then. In fact, sometimes non-surgical facelifts can be used to evaluate and fine-tune the exact results desired before undertaking the more permanent procedure. And in the meantime, touch-up treatments can be done on your non-surgical facelift.

Will my non-surgical facelift last as long as a surgical facelift?

Non-surgical facelifts do not last as long as surgical facelifts; however, they do not take as long to perform and recovery time is shorter. The results of surgical facelifts last ten years or more, while non-surgical facelifts last from six months to a year or more.

Besides recovery time, what are some other benefits to non-surgical facelifts?

Your look is not “permanent,” which means that although you look much younger, you are not permanently committed to the look should you decide it’s not for you after all. Also, as mentioned, the recovery time for non-surgical facelifts is shorter and they are less expensive, allowing you to use them “just for special occasions” such as a wedding or reunion.

Are there other procedures I can have to complement my non-surgical facelift?

Yes! There are many other surgical and non-surgical services we can provide you along with your non-surgical facelift or afterward. Some of these include a facelift, neck lift, laser skin resurfacing treatments and many other skincare therapies and procedures.
