Open Brow Lift
This process makes a long incision across your forehead. The incision can be at the hairline or in one of your forehead creases. Endoscopic Brow Lift
This form of an eyebrow lift uses a tiny video camera and minimal incisions. Small incisions are made throughout your scalp for a minimally invasive procedure with the assistance of the endoscope.
Limited Incision Technique
This procedure combines both procedure techniques above. It does not use an endoscope however it has less incisions then the open brow lift. This hybrid form of correcting a drooping forehead does not target the main area being the eyebrows; however, it effectively corrects wrinkles.
As with all of our procedures, including facelift, neck lift, and injectable fillers, the brow lift is performed with the utmost care to ensure the results look natural. Although endoscopic approaches for brow lifts are commonplace, Dr. Dominic prefers the more traditional, open approach performed through a scalp incision. The scalp incision approach is Dr. Dominic’s preference for simple techniques that lead to an easy recovery and maximal results for the patient.
This procedure begins with an incision made in the scalp, over the forehead and then the skin is lifted. The frown muscles are partially removed, which eliminates the downward pull on the brows. Fibrous attachments of the brow are released so the brows can be lifted and repositioned. Finally, the excess skin is removed and the incision is closed.

BROW LIFT RECOVERY
Recovery from a brow lift depends on if you combine the procedure with other facial rejuvenation surgeries like eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty). Typically, our brow lift patients can return to their normal, everyday activities within two to seven days after surgery. Patients may experience slight bruising and swelling; however, this will subside over the following weeks.

You may also experience some numbness which gradually goes away. You can resume normal, light activity at this point, but should avoid heavy lifting and strenuous exercise for three to four weeks.
