Results That Go Beyond Skin Tightening
A deep plane facelift restores youthful structure by lifting the deeper layers of your face, not just tightening the surface. Dr. Dominic creates definition, smoothness, and natural movement that traditional facelift techniques can’t achieve.
Lift and Redefine the Jowls
A deep plane facelift repositions descended cheek fat and underlying tissue to restore youthful volume, improve the appearance of the jowls and soften deep nasolabial folds.
Smooth and Sculpt the Neck
By lifting deeper tissues along the jawline and neck, Dr. Dominic refines sagging contours and creates a smoother, more defined profile.
Long-Lasting Results That Look Like You
A deep plane facelift repositions tissues at the structural level, so your results last longer and age naturally. You’ll look refreshed, never “pulled” or overdone.

Is a Deep Plane Facelift Right for You?
A deep plane facelift works best when aging affects the deeper structure of your face, not just the surface. If sagging jowls and cheeks and deep folds make you look tired or older than you feel, this may be the right technique for you.
You may be a good candidate if:
- You have significant sagging in the midface, jowls or along the jawline
- Deep nasolabial folds make your face look heavy or drawn
- Loose skin in your neck is making your profile less defined
- You want long-lasting results that look and move naturally
A deep plane facelift may not be right for you if:
- You have only mild skin laxity that could improve with a mini facelift or neck lift
- You’re looking for a more subtle correction at the jawline and younger than 50 yrs old.
Not sure if this technique is right for you? Dr. Dominic will discuss your goals and recommend the right approach.

What to Expect During Your Recovery
Here’s what you can expect as you heal from your deep plane facelift:
Week 1
Expect swelling, bruising, and tightness during the first several days. Rest with your head elevated, avoid strenuous activity, and follow your post-op instructions. Some sutures are removed.
Week 2
Swelling decreases, and you’ll start to look more like yourself. Many patients return to light daily activities once cleared at their follow-up appointment. All remaining sutures are removed. Most patients are able to return to the gym
Week 3-4
Most visible bruising has resolved, and your facial contours look more defined. You can gradually resume more of your routine while protecting your skin from sun exposure.
Week 6
Your face looks noticeably refreshed, and any remaining swelling is subtle. At this stage, you’ll likely feel ready to attend social events.
Months 3–6
Your results continue to refine as deeper tissues settle into their new position. Your results look seamless, move naturally, and continue to improve over time.

What Most Patients Want to Know
How much does a deep plane facelift cost?
The cost of a deep plane facelift depends on your anatomy, goals, and whether you combine it with other procedures. We’ll provide a personalized quote during your consultation, so you know exactly what to expect.
Is there a “right” age for a deep plane facelift?
There’s no perfect age; it’s more about the level of sagging and structural descent in your face. Most patients consider this procedure in their 50s to 60s when deeper laxity becomes more noticeable. However, this technique has gained more prominence due to the use of GLP-1 inhibitors and extreme weight loss.
Will there be visible scarring?
Dr. Dominic places incisions discreetly around the ears and hairline, so they blend naturally with your features. As they heal, scars fade significantly and become barely visible over time.
When can I return to work?
Most patients feel ready to return to desk work within 7–10 days, depending on the severity of swelling and bruising. Dr. Dominic will evaluate your healing at follow-up visits and let you know when it’s safe to resume your routines.
